Educational kids games for ages 2-6
A good game for a small child has big targets, spoken instructions and a patient pace — and no ads or reward traps. Minidu offers 400+ activities across nine modules: coordination games, number and shape games, letter games, memory and attention games, language games, and two-player games siblings play on one screen. None require reading; all work offline.
Which kids games for which age?
Ages 2-3: balloon popping, coloring, shadow matching and big-piece puzzles for fingers that are just discovering touch. Big targets, no timers, no penalty for a wrong answer.
Ages 4-5: pattern completion, memory cards, counting and ordering games, mazes, finger-tracing letters and numbers. Levels progress in short rounds as attention spans grow.
Ages 5-6: addition and subtraction, lowercase letters, first words, sound-awareness games and reflex duels. A little faster and a little harder, for the pre-school year.
What to look for in a children's game
- Are there ads? In kids games, ads cause accidental taps and unsuitable content, not just distraction. Minidu contains no ad SDK.
- Are there purchase traps? Countdowns, limited-time offers and "today only" badges target children. In Minidu no purchase screen opens without the parent gate.
- Does it require reading? A 2-6-year-old can't read; instructions must be spoken. Every Minidu activity is narrated by Dudu.
- Does it need internet? It should work in the car, on a plane, in the countryside. Minidu keeps all content on the device.
- Is there a time limit? Parents set a 15/20/30/45-minute daily limit from the dashboard; a gentle rest screen appears when time is up.
